	Welcome to the LBWG website! Our purpose is to be a place for women to meet in a social and supportive atmosphere. Tucked away outside Euston train station is a little stone building that looks long forgotten. But it isn’t. Inside this Tardis-like structure, which commuters rush by without a backwards glance, is probably London’s best lesbian venue - the Glass Bar.” www.theglassbar.org.uk History of the group The LBWG began in 1984 with women meeting in each other's homes as a breakaway group from the (mixed) London Bisexual Group. It moved to the London Women's Centre in 1991 then to the Drill Hall in September 1998, moving to the Vespa Lounge in October 1999 and the Glass Bar in November 2001. The Glass Bar closed temporarily in summer 2007, but has now re-opened.
